Description

You will want to pour this herb-infused olive oil on everything, ev-ve-ry-thing! So easy to make and lasts for weeks!

Ingredients

  • 16 oz extra-virgin olive oil
  • 6 large cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 rosemary sprigs
  • 45 sprigs of thyme
  • 10 basil leaves
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Combine the olive oil, garlic, thyme, rosemary, basil and red pepper flakes in a narrow saucepan over medium heat.
  2. As the heat builds, there will be considerable bubbling as the water cooks out of the garlic and herbs. When this dies down and the basil and garlic turn brown, kill the heat and let the misture steep until cool.
  3. Strain the oil into a jar and toss the solids.

  • Use whatever herbs and spices you have on hand.
