Description
These Korean beef lettuce wraps make a delicious, quick, healthy weeknight meal! Use ground turkey or lean beef and serve with lettuce or rice!

Ingredients
- 1 head of lettuce (Boston, butter or bibb work well!)
- 1 lb. of lean ground beef (or turkey)
- 1/4 cup coconut aminos or low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of sesame oil, divided in half
- 2 tablespoons of Swerve brown (could use brown or coconut sugar)
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 bunch green onions, split between green & white sections
- 3 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
- Sesame seeds (garnish)
Instructions
- In large skillet, brown the beef in 1/2 tbsp sesame oil.
- Add white part of onions and continue to cook until the beef is done. Drain fat.
- Whisk in bowl brown swerve, soy sauce, 1/2 tbsp sesame oil, garlic, ginger, rice wine vinegar and red pepper flakes.
- Pour sauce over meat and allow it to reduce (3-5 minutes).
- Serve in lettuce wraps or over rice.
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
